My 2010 Anticipated Movies

Wow.
2010 is almost halfway now.
I know I have said this a lot but time really flies fast.
It is definitely a year of full activities for me.
I am scheduled to finish my M.Ed by end of this year, InsyaAllah.
And The e-Beautique is getting better, we're joining more bazaars this year.
I'm turning a-quarter-century-th old by October.
I am collecting more and more heels in 2010.
And I have never gone to karaoke sessions more than ever.
*thanks to you-know-who-you-are*
It's definitely a year of 'more'!

On top of that,
my list for the anticipated movies of 2010 has totally grown.
Some of the movies are already watched earlier this year.
Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Nine, Alice in Wonderland, The Lovely Bones, Clash of the Titans, Shutter Island.
*apa lagi ek?*
'The Lovely Bones' was a bit disappointing for me, sadly.
I expected more but you know,
when movies are made out of books and you have actually read the books,
you'll definitely hope the movie versions to be as good as the books.
But that rarely happens.
Except for 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'Shopaholic'.
And 'P.S. I Love You' was a terrible movie which is a waste because it's such a good novel.

Nevertheless,
I still have few anticipated movies for another half of 2010.

'Prince of Persia'
For old times' sake, you know.
It was among the first DOS games I played, together with Pacman and Wolfenstein.
God I miss those games.

'Inception'
*trailer*
Another Leo DiCaprio movie.
I am no more biased, he's a terribly good actor.
He's like the new Johnny Depp, you know.
But I like it that he dons serious characters because he doesn't bore me at all.
I have watched him grow, basically, from 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape?' to 'Titanic' to 'Blood Diamond' and he's getting so much better he amazes me each time.
Can't wait for this one.

'The Road'
*trailer*
It's from a novel by Cormac McCarthy.
I haven't had any chance to read it but I promise myself I will before the movie comes out.
I know it's a good novel because Oprah suggested it in 'The Oprah Book Club'.
And based on the trailer, it seems like it is a good one.
I highly hope so.

'Takers'
*trailer*
Okay, here's a confession.
I love movies that support the themes of casino, stealing, deception, manipulation.
'Ocean's Eleven' is still my favourite movie. And so is 'Swordfish'. And 'Hackers'.
Basically, 'Takers' adopts the same theme- stealing, deception, manipulation.
And cunning intelligence.
The actors are also yummy-licious so it's a plus point.
Paul Walker, T.I., Jay Hernandez.

'Beastly'
*trailer*
This is purely for fun, no brains needed.
I like Vanessa Hudgens although I don't watch 'High School Musical'.
I just think she's really pretty.
It's similar to the classic 'The Beauty and the Beast' which is my most favourite Disney cartoon.
And there are also Mary-Kate Olsen and Neil Patrick Harris so it sounds good to me.

There are few other movies out this year as well and although they are big titles,
I just don't go oh la la, you know what I mean.
Robin Hood, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Shrek.
No one can ever take the place of Kevin Costner as my Robin Hood.
And unless Freddy Krueger is hunting for Johnny Depp, I'm not gonna watch it.
And Shrek, I thought the movie is supposed to be far far away already.
What happened to the good old rule for cartoons?
One is good enough already.

So, there you have it.
And there'll be more.
=)

Gentlemen

Johnny Depp. Josh Duhamel. Nick Carter. Richard Gere. Ewan McGregor. Sam Worthington. Chace Crawford. Chad Michael Murray. Elvis Presley. Barry 'Mr.Brown' Evans. Devon Sawa. Stephen Dorff. James 'Sonny' Caan. Leonardo DiCaprio. Jonathan Brandis. Adam R****n. Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Jon Bon Jovi. Matt Lanter. Charles 'Maxwell Sheffield' Shaughnessy. John 'Uncle Jesse' Stamos. Shane Filan. Jason 'Brandon' Priestley.

These are the gentlemen that I have/had crushes on since I was 8 (Mr.Brown), 10 (Uncle Jesse, Richard Gere, Elvis Presley), 12 (Nick Carter, Devon Sawa) and yes, until today.
*trying not to sound like a pervert*
And I know what is one thing on them that I fall/fell for.
I just found out.
I was so bored I actually googled their pictures just to de-strain my eyes after writing my assignments.
And I was shocked to see the similarities.
Johnny Depp & Devon Sawa?
Nick Carter & Jon Bon Jovi?
Johnny Depp & Elvis Presley?
Oh yes. They all have it.
And no it's not six-packs. Or their guns.

BTW, Adam Lambert is not included.
What a shocker, eh?
He's not a real crush, more like a naughty crush.
hahaha
I think I'd fall for his eccentric-ness more than his look.
But he's undoubtedly good looking.

So yeah, it's official.
I'm a sucker for guys with that one thing.

*still can't believe i'd spend hours doing this research*
*haha*
*so i should thank my assignment? err?*

That Girl's Hot!

Oh no please,
I'm not that narcissistic.
I meant her.
Alessandra Ambrosio.

I secretly adore her.
Well, not that secret anymore now.
haha
I like her glowing skin, nose, hair, smile.
I like her in magazines, on TV, on the runways.
I still think she's too skinny but hey, she's a model after all.
A Victoria's Secret model.
And that seals the fact that they'll never get too skinny.

She's hot.
And I think Fazura is hot, too.
And I also think Hilary Duff is pretty.
And I've always liked Andrea from The Corrs.
And oh, Britney Spears. Never over her.
Gorgeous. Gorgeous.

Yay! Holidays are Coming!

Just another seven days until my last assignment of the semester is due.
Can't wait!
Time surely flies fast!
Then I'm gonna need to start on my dissertation.
And another three subjects.
It's gonna be a lot but I just want to graduate by end of this year.
No tangguh2.

Anyway, two months holiday is actually short, you know.
Very short.
But since I'm not working, maybe I can really relish every second of it.
Hopefully so but I have a job interview on Monday and it's kinda weird because they told me it's a meeting, not interview.
And according to a friend who works there, it means I'm already in!
But I'm still confused.
I would be very thankful to get the job but we'll see.
I don't want to be hoping too much and get disappointed later, if I'm not cut for it.

Honestly,
I'm in a dilemma.
I just don't know which field I really want to work in.
And as a Libran, making choices sucks because it'll take forever for me to really decide.
When it comes to future planning, e.g- family, children, working hours, I definitely opt for teaching.
For example,
Teaching in the IPTs is very flexible and if I work nearby to home, I can always pick up my children from school.
And then come back early (because I clock in early after sending the children to school) to cook healthy dinner for the kids and hubby.
Then I don't have to bring work home because I can mark them when I don't have classes so I'd have more time for the family. And hubby.
OMG can you see how berfikiran jauh I am???
Sheesh...
WTH.

But when it comes to what I love doing, I would definitely give everything to get a chance to work at a fashion magazine company.
It's gonna be my dream come true.
I know I watched too much 'Shopaholic' & 'Ugly Betty' but I know it's really fun and I can work well while under pressure and during hectic hours.
I even thought of getting a diploma or degree in journalism just so I can venture into this field.
I truly enjoy writing.

Not that I don't enjoy teaching, I do.
But I know how stressful teaching can be because you deal with human beings.
And with 30 students in a class, you simply have to deal with 30 different human behaviours when you are only capable to really deal with one kind, which is your own.
I can be that strict and monotonous teacher but it bores the hell of the students and even myself.
And it's incredibly awfully important for me to enjoy what I'm doing.

I read in a past issue of Cleo, which is to
'try to love your whatever-job, not to get a job that you love'
when you have reached 30.
It's about being matured and the importance of stability for the future.

Darn.
Susah lah.
Can I just be a princess and jalan2 around the world and visit the poor 3rd world countries and write cheques for the hospitals & schools there?
Seriously.
If only life is that easy breezy.

Rimas

I just can't stand to be bothered about it anymore.
Like seriously.
Please, have some pride.
I respect you but this is just going too far.
Too bloody far.
And I am getting so bloody rimas.

I can be nice.
I choose not to be not nice.
Because I believe in treating people the way I expect to be treated.
But then again, sometimes life itself is cruel.
And there's a very fine line between me being nice and an ***hole.
Oh yes I am pissed off.
So please don't make me cross that line easily.

God I am angry.
I don't get angry that much but when I really do,
I really really do.

So before all hell breaks loose,
just stop doing whatever you're doing.

*siapa makan cili, dia yang terasa pedas*

Adam 'likes it on top'! Haha!

OMG this cracks me up big time!
Around minute 1:24,
right after they were asked on who'll take the top bunk on the tour bus.
Watch Kris' facial expression.
PRICELESS!

And I love both Adam and Kris' hearty laughs!
=)

-qils-

Highly Hilarious

This is super hilarious!
He's got such great sense of humour.
And he looks so cute in those librarian glasses!
I totally adore him!
=)

To Die For

Yep.
Those jaws are to die for.
For once I lost my words.

Sometimes I wonder, how did Nabi Yusuf look like?
He was, as in Hadith, a really good looking man.
Sangat tampan dan wanita yang memandang baginda terkesima sehingga terpotong jari semasa mengupas bawang.
I read in Hadith that he was the most good looking man ever created on earth.
Ciptaan Allah.
Maha Agung.
