happy feet!

The moment VIPs have been waiting for.
It's finally here.
The details on GD's One of A Kind World Tour in Malaysia!
 (^.^)

The seating plan is out. We all know it's gonna be at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil on 22nd next month.
Yeah, I know it's a small venue but at least it's covered.
Those who went to watch Big Bang earlier at Stadium Merdeka would understand the madness of queuing and waiting in the rain. Oh God that was madness.
That was the first and last time I'd ever buy free standing ticket for a concert.
(*.*)

Anyway, here's the seating plan and ticket price.

 *pic credit: mykpophuntress*

Gahhhhh the VIP ticket price is almost the same as Big Bang!
I seriously thought it's gonna be cheaper as the venue is smaller and it's only GD but hell yeah the organizer knows how to make money.
So basically the choices that I have right now would be between CAT 1 and CAT 3.
No way Jose am I gonna buy those free standing tickets. I never ever want to start queuing 4hours before the show starts. Again.

The tickets will be launched at Farenheit88 on 11th May 2013 at 10am.
I will be in Sabah at that time so looks like I need help to buy me the tickets.
They did that for Big Bang earlier so hopefully they'll be doing the same for GD.

Oh my I'm sooooo excited!
*happyfeethappyfeethappyfeethappyfeet*

keep you friends close...

...and your enemies closer.

"Today's allies become tomorrow's foes
Right under my nose there are trust and betrayal
Then there's the cold question
Why can't I have a normal life?"

Iris OST by Big Bang

Literally LMAO!

OMG I laughed too hard my stomach hurt so bad!

This is my favourite hairstyle for GD!
His platinum mushroom hair, from their MV 'Monster'.

Aigoooo Jiyong-ah, why are you so cute?!
(^.^)

you and me..it's a possibility...

"Everytime I look at you..I wish you looked my way
And flash me that dazzling smile that really makes my day
But of course it's just a dream..a dream that won't come true
and for unrequited love I wrote this song for you
I always think of how it'd be..if we were together
You and me holding hands
(It's a dream)
I can picture it right now
You and me..it's a dream,
It's a possibility...

When I look out of my window
I hope you look up at me
If only you could read my heart
My love so true you'd see
How empty my life would be
If I don't have you
And for unrequited love I wrote this song for you...
..it's a dream... it's a Possibility..."

*Possibility by Intoxicated*

Unrequited love is nasty.

There’s nothing I can do about it.
So near yet so far.
='(

forever and a day

"Biarlah kehilangan semua yang dimiliki di dunia asal masih adanya kamu"

-Sedetik Lebih by Anuar Zain.

I found this to be the most beautiful line from a song.
Ever.

smells like a teen spirit

*pic: Hedi Slimane Diary*

Frances Bean Cobain.
She has only become more and more beautiful these days.
Is it just me or she really takes after her daddy?
Everytime I look at her I'd see Kurt Cobain.
I'm not a big fan of Nirvana but there's something about their songs that's just too addictive.
You sort of wanting to bang your head at the same time Kurt did in their music videos.
Such a waste for him to die so young.
Well, all good things do come to an end, right?

THE Real Tear-jerker

Chris Colfer did it again y'all!
I cry buckets everytime I watch this.
It'll start with goosebumps and end with hiccups.
Beautiful rendition of I Want To Hold Your Hand originally by The Beatles.
He sang this in 'Grilled Cheesus' episode when Kurt's dad fainted because of heart attack.
I get sappy very easily whenever I watch anything involving mommy and daddy. I guess as I get older, I have learnt to appreciate them most.
People say you'll only know how parents feel once you're a parent yourself. Well apparently I don't need to wait until then.
I'm blessed for having my wonderful parents whom I'd die for.
All praises to Allah.

Anyway, did you notice the kid look too alike like him?
I'd swear he's Chris' doppelganger!
Adorable!

Taylor Swift - Back to December

This has got to be my favourite Taylor Swift's song, probably after Mine.
The melody is beautiful and the words are perfectly placed line after line.
And I'm loving those bangs on her! Before this I really thought she looked a bit older than her age, the red lips and side-up bun.
And those lips! I've always loved lips with a deeper cupid's bow, unlike Angelina Jolie's.
Anyway I heard this song is about her brief relationship with Taylor Lautner but we'll never know the real truth.
Whatever it is, this country girl definitely knows how to write sappy songs.
Great sappy songs.
=)

Ricky Martin - The Best Thing About Me Is You =)

*credits to awesome Lin*

I just need to share this brilliant song with you!
Beautiful lyrics. Gorgeous singer. And Ricky Martin sounds sexier than ever baby!
Enjoy!

p/s- my favourite part of the song ;)
"Kick off your shoes, lay back, and take a load off
Give me your blues, let me love it away
Nothing to lose, so don’t act like such a grownup
Stay out all night in the moonlight with me

Don’t say no.
No, no. don’t say no.
Just say yes.
Come on and just say yes.
You know it’s time to keep it simple
Let’s take a chance and hope for the best

Life is short, so make it what you wanna
Make it good, don’t wait until mañana
I think I’m cool cause your name’s on this heart shaped tattoo.
Now the best thing about me is you"

I'm all smiling now! =)

It's not just a bag. It's Prada...

If you ever thought from that title, I actually have bought a Prada, well I can wish nothing more than for it to come true.
Someday.
Anyway, found this when I was looking at new stuff on 'Women's Handbags' on eBay and saw this!
Hilarious!
OMG if there's a Backstreet Boys or Westlife or Britney Spears backpack when I was 12 I swear I'd buy it!
Being 12 is awesome! I need Doc Brown's time machine! Pronto!

The Aftermath

This post-concert post (eh?) is gonna be short, sweet and simple.
I hope.

I had so much fun that day, from the time I arrived to the last minute of the moment.
Met new fabulous, non-judgmental people and meeting Adam was definitely the highlight.
My partner in crime, Aimi, said she went to Usher's concert few months back and Adam was much better, vocal and performance wise.
On top of that, there was nothing gay about Adam's concert. No kissing, crotch grabbing or even scandalous dance moves. He's a professional. He promised and signed a 'deal' and kept his words.
I hope people won't judge him anymore but to agree that he's talented and he's all about his talents.

Adding to that, remember I mentioned Iqwal (not Iqwan!), the first opening act who sang Jay Sean's 'Down'?
Well, thanx to the wonder of Google, he's actually one amazing singer!
Won few international awards already.
Read more about him, here.

So there you have it, all about the one and only Adam Lambert.
Some people adore him, some people said he's a disgrace.
Just because he has been honest all this while by admitting he's gay.
So now it's wrong to be honest?
What are you trying to imply here by protesting his concert?
Believe me, people don't become gay just by watching a concert or become friends with gays.
What are we teaching our children?
To discriminate?
Instead of explaining to them the rights and wrongs?
Well, good job then. You must be proud of yourself.

At the beginning of his concert, Adam said his concert is all about love.
Can't we just leave it there?

*still waiting for meet&greet pictures & autographed Glambox from Sony Music MY! =)*

*btw, those who missed the concert, you can watch videos posted by the fans on YouTube. go quick and kick yourself for missing the amazing show!*

if i had you, honey

I still woke up this morning with a hangover.
Sue me.
hahaha

Okay so this is the while-concert post.
We walked in at around 7pm, I was having the time of the month, so we went straight to into the stadium and found our seats.
BTW, there's a decent prayer room in the stadium, so not to worry on where to perform your Maghrib prayers.
The first opening act was Iqwan, whom I have no idea who he is but according to the MC, he won several awards international. I'll Google him later. He dressed similarly like Adam, guess everyone is affected by Mr. Lambert himself. He sang Jay Sean's 'Down' and it was not so bad! Impressive for someone I've never heard about.
Next up was Daniel Lee, who came as the first runner-up in Malaysian Idol. He belted out Bon Jovi's 'It's My Life' and it was definitely a great start for the concert! The whole stadium sang along!

*big crowd and humongous Digi balloons!*

*my partner in crime, Aimi!!!*

*our Glambert heels*

Adam only came out at 9pm. We heard there was a protest going on outside the stadium by PAS. So most probably Adam waited for them to step back before he started the show. I'm not gonna comment on the protest because it's a waste of energy and these people should actually go home and spend time with their family. Or check out bars and pubs instead, not a concert where there's no alcohol served or people kissing. Seriously.

Now back to Adam, the show-stopper started off the show with 'Voodoo', followed by 'For Your Entertainment'. It was amazing!! I screamed at the top of my lungs! The whole stadium sang and danced along. Followed with other fabulous songs from his album including 'Sleepwalker', 'Aftermath', 'Whataya Want From Me', 'Strut', 'Fever', 'Soaked', 'Music Again', 'If I Had You', 'Sure Fire Winners', '20th Century Boy' and 'Mad World'. Did I miss any song??

*singing 'Voodoo'. sorry for the low quality of my camera. hehe*

Prior to the concert, before buying the tix, I actually Googled about his last concerts and I stumbled upon a page from US where a fan asked whether he/she should go to Adam' concert. Another fan commented that Adam's concert is worth going because he actually sounds better live. I definitely have to agree. His songs sounded million times better when he sang live that night! He sang 'Mad World' in an upbeat version and it was the best version I've ever heard from anyone!

It was thrilling! People were screaming and jumping and dancing! He stopped singing at one time and introduced his bands and dancers. The moment he introduced Tommy, whom he's contoversially kissed on stage, everybody was shouting 'Kiss! Kiss! Kiss' and Adam & Tommy looked at each other and I could tell everyone was holding their breath, wondering if they'd kiss. Of course they didn't! Adam signed a 'deal', remember? But the teasing was more than enough for us!

I'm gonna let you feast your eyes now.
These pictures are taken from Sony Music Malaysia Facebook page. Better quality!
Enjoy!

He's hot! The whole stadium could feel the burning temperature from his energy!
Oh my I can't stop talking about his show.
To wrap up the amazaing experience, I would say it has been one of the greatest nights of my life! I'm not really a concert-goer but if Adam comes back, I'd definitely grab the tickets fast! He has the best live vocal, top showmanship and amazing personality!
He's the showstopper baby!

*okay, breathe in, breathe out*

All we need in this world is some LOVE

It's tonight!
I am so darn blardy excited!
Still can't believe I'm going to watch Mr. Lambert himself in Malaysia!

Well, to be honest, as part as not believing I got tickets to his show, I actually can't believe the part that he's HERE.
I mean, when I first heard he's coming some time in July, I was contemplating. I was like "He wouldn't get through. People would protest."
Because he's gay.
And yes there will be a protest in front of the stadium tonight, I read that somewhere on online news.
Surprise surprise!
That's so typical.
These people stated that Adam "promotes gay lifestyle".
Seriously?
On a more serious note, SERIOUSLY??
Adam is civilized enough to sign a contract to agree to tone down his antics, no kissing or touching his dick.
I wonder if he's allowed to wear eyeliner.
Duhh!
I am aware that homosexuality is forbidden in Islam but I have gay friends and they're among the nicest people I've met.
Some of them, even though they admit they have feelings for other men, they never leave solat.
Asking God for forgiveness, probably.
And some of my 'real' Muslim guy friends skip Friday prayers or fast.

I just hate the hypocrisy these people have you know.
Propaganda.
Making things big out of nothing.
Come on, Adam comes, sings and flies to another country in three or four days.
How can he be "promoting gay lifestyle"?
He's a singer and none of his songs talks about being gay.

I listen to Adam Lambert.
I also listen to Maher Zain.
I know every word to Adam's song 'Whataya Want From Me'.
I also know every word to Maher's 'For The Rest of My Life'.
So what does that make me?

Urbanscapes 2010!

The e-Beautique will be joining Urbanscapes tomorrow!
It's gonna be a blast!
There's Tilu, Yuna, SevenCollar T-Shirt, Liyana Fizi and many more indie artists!
And KLPac is a great place to relax, it's a beauty!
I so cannot wait!
^_^

BTW, I've been missing out so much. There's a lot I wanna write about. Maybe after Urbanscapes 2010.
I highly hope so.

Thoughts From Lady Gaga & Beyonce =)

Have you watched Lady Gaga's new music video for "Telephone"?
Beyonce is featured in both songs and video.
My favourite part?
Apart from her killer shoes?

Must be these lines:
B: You know Gaga, trust is like a mirror. You can't fix it if it's broken.
LG: But you can still see the crack in that motherf**ker's reflection.

Oh I love!
So true.
Once people misused the trust you put in them, it's just undone.
It's never forgotten and it haunts you forever.
More like disappointed.
You know the statement 'forgive and forget'?
I think sorry is sooooo overrated these days.
Brain is given to us by God to help us think. And to store memories.
And what makes people think the word 'sorry' can erase the memories?
It's never as simple as that.
For me it's easier to forgive than forget.
I forgive easily, means I don't feel like taking revenge or praying for karma to strike back.
That's why I find bliss in ignorance.
But I don't forget easily.
So I just turn around and take the other way, hoping it won't happen or cross-path again.
But there are people who just can't move on. They just stuck there, waiting for the situation or the past to take place again.
Funny how life treats us all, eh?
Who says life is unfair? Life is fair. God gives everyone equality in everything. It's about the choices you make. You are actually making your life unfair.
Maybe it's time to realize that people do take people for granted.
In so many ways- work, relationship, friendship.
So what should we do?
Just be 'ikhlas' in everything.
Senang je kan.
Yang lain-lain tu let the Almighty handle it His ways.
There's sunnah saying 'Doa orang teraniaya akan dimakbulkan'.
It's true but I'd rather pray for my loved ones to be blessed with all the happiness in the world.
Go figure, stop whining and just be thankful.

Born a Libra, I am said to be the most indecisive people.
*not that I really believe it*
But I know exactly what I want most in my life.
To be able to trust and be trusted.
To be able to give and appreciated.
To be able to love and be loved.
Unconditionally.
