like a G6!

2011 would be a year that has flown super fast.
At least for me.

It's the year I completed my M.Ed.
The same year I visited the beautiful Seoul, met Ruhil there and bought to much facial masks.
The year my parents performed Haj.
The year I watched almost 20 different movies at cinemas and three great theatres at Istana Budaya and Westlife live.
And also the year I stayed jobless until late November.

So probably because I wasn't working that I felt they year went by too fast than I could catch up.
But I still had such a great time not working.
LOL!
Looking back at my 2011 planner, I'm happy that almost every column is filled up. This means I have fully used the days of 2011.

My resolution for 2012 is no more resolution.
I just hope my family and friends are blessed by Allah with happiness and joy forever, not just in 2012.
And hopefully everyone would start using shopping bags everyday instead of Saturdays only.

Anyway,
happy new year people!
Can't wait to use my new planner!
Yay!

my joongi. again. ;)

Oh dear Allah,
if he's the one for me then please lead me the way. If he's not meant for me then please lead me far away from him.
He's a nice guy and a good friend but why does my heart still feels empty?
I'm not sure what's stopping me but he's really a good guy and I don't want him hurt. I've been trying to accept
us but my heart can't lie.
I'm still waiting for my heart to skip a beat everytime I meet him. So far no butterflies nor goosebumps felt, there's only confusion.

Oh dear God,
guide me.
Please...

my baby, you....

BR: TonyMoly Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack

Wanna know the best way to call it a day?
Slapping facial mask and lie down for 15-20 minutes which are probably the most relaxing minutes of the entire day.
Sheet mask is probably the best invention of the beauty world! It’s super easy to use, always smell nice and it makes my skin energized and plumpy. I used to wear sheet mask once a week as it’s a bit expensive to be worn everyday. That was probably a reason why I bought almost a hundred of sheet masks during my trip to Seoul.
Honestly, Korean beauty houses certainly know that girls love everything cute!
Just look at TonyMoly Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack, super adorable! It’s a jar shaped like a tomato with bright red color and this is one of the brand’s best seller products. Seriously, who can walk past this and not buy one???
Anyway, to be frank, I bought this mainly because of the cute jar. I don’t really need a whitening mask as I already have a medium fair skin tone but to tell you the truth, no masks can actually ‘whiten’ your skin tone. It may help to brighten your complexion and dark spots but it can never ever change anyone’s skin tone, trust me. It takes more than a mere facial mask to transform the presence of your skin melanin.
I lifted the lid and a small transparent spoon dropped which is another reason to love this product. Usually they wont provide any kind of spatulas to scoop out the mask which can be very unhygienic if you scoop with fingers. I removed the safety lid and, well, was a bit disappointed because the mask is white in colour. I was hoping for it to be orange- or red-ish like real tomatoes. The plastic box provides instructions in both Korean and English but if you don’t understand both, not to worry, as demonstration pictures are also included.

TonyMoly Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack, 80g.
How to use:
On a damp clean face, lightly massage the mask in circular motions for 1-2mins. I always cleanse my face with my facial cleanser and just pat my face clean to make sure it’s still damp, not dry, before putting on mask. This helps your skin to be less irritated by any mask youre using. The mask doesn’t smell like tomatoes and Im not quite sure how to describe the smell but it doesn’t sting my nose. It also doesn’t tingle my skin. Leave the mask for 10mins and wipe it off with a facial sponge, using lukewarm water before rinsing with cold water. I don’t usually leave mask longer than instructed because im worried that my skin may have bad reaction towards the product.
The aftermath?
My skin definitely appears brighter and feels very clean but the brightening effect doesn’t stay long. It does nothing to my pores or pimples but my skin does feel plumpy. I’d wear this before important event as it’s a good exfoliator and preps my skin well before wearing make up.
Try it?
If you want a brighter complexion for important events, yes, you should really buy this! It works well as exfoliator too.
Cons?
I would love it better if it smells and looks like the real tomato. LOL!

spell "spell" please...

God I hate it when I have spelling trouble in class.
I'd feel like such a dimwit.
Sometimes writing on the board makes words look as if they're misspelled. Seriously.
Guess I can't handle confusion well.

awesome-ness!

I just love Barney Stinson.
He's hilarious to the core and his brutal honesty is what made him such a good friend that everyone needs to have one.
He's like a friend girls need to have so he can warn us not to fall for a guy like him. LOL!
The show "How I Met Your Mother" has really become one of my favourite series of all time! I can watch reruns for hundreds of times and still roll on the floor laughing each time!
If you're feeling and you need a good hearty laugh then this is the perfect show for you.
It's super AWESOME!

LOL!

I am not quite sure why I find this super hilarious!
ROFL!

the sand between my toes & those feelings i get as the waves tease my feet...

I'm not really a beach fan, I'd rather go hiking.
I honestly don't think I can just sit by the beach and do nothing. I'd probably die out of boredom.
Nevertheless, I get the same feelings everytime my feet touch the sand on the beach. I feel calm the moment my feet sink into the warm tiny granules and the smell of seawater is surprisingly very soothing.
God's creations are the greatest. Subhanallah.

I may have just started working but I seriously want a holiday!

Well we probably won't be sleeping anyway.

Aaaaaaah Kim Hyun Joong....
Those smiles are seriously contagious!
Can I have him wrapped in a heart-shaped box with pink ribbons on top?
Pretty pleaaaaaaaaaaase.......!!
(^_^)

i chose the road less travelled...

Or is it not?

I’m hired, finally. I'm now working at a public university in Melaka and it has been 2 weeks since I first started teaching. Am I happy here? Well, Alhamdulillah for the rezeki He gave me but as usual, there are always things that make me go erghh..

You see, the coordinator called me on a Thursday, asking me to come over for an interview the next day. I went to her office on Friday and she straightaway gave me my teaching timetable and explained a few things about the subject. In other words, she didn’t even give me time to think over the job offer. In short, they're desperate and in need of lecturers. So I guessed I didn’t have a way out and went to work the next Monday. I was even too shocked to say anything!

Well the first few days, of course weren’t all happy and flowery. Even though I used to study here for a year for my pre-degree, so many things have changed especially the new buildings and community. And the coordinator being not friendly isn’t helping at all. I was hoping someone would give me a map of the campus! Luckily I've a friend working here and she helped me a lot. We used to be classmates when we did our bachelor degree and seeing a familiar face really reduce my anxiety.

So far classes went well and my first year students are doing fine too. They're still fresh out of schools and some still call me ‘teacher’. I really don’t mind being called a teacher, I am a teacher anyway. The only downside so far is the salary. Well, can't say much when you're working with the government. *sigh*

Anyway, I believe I'm happier working here as I'm close to my family. I feel blessed to be able to ask for my parents blessings every morning before leaving for work. Nothing beats having your family around even though I sometimes crave for IKEA meatballs or William’s cheese naan but coming home and knowing there are people waiting for you to come home is definitely more fulfilling than William’s Vanilla Pavlova Trifle. Eh, really?

Dayyyyyyum!
